Hello,

This is a common problem that faces users who use 64 bit's of Windows 7.

Try to do the following:

  • At the program you want to show power menu on it hold shift with right click.
  • You will see the power menu.

I hope these steps help you solve the problem.

Hi,

Please refer to the below possible solutions to your problem:

Solution 1.

  • You have to enable the power menu option.
  • Open "run" and write gpedit.msc.
  • Go to the below path: User ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesStart Menu and Taskbar.
  • Click twice on "Remove and Prevent Access to the Shut Down command" – choose "Disabled".
  • Click twice on "Change Start Menu power button" and Enable it.
  • Select Shutdown.

Solution 2.

You may create a new user, this could help to activate the power menu.

Solution 3.

You can consider installing a hibernation software, and create a shortcut for a better control.
