Help,
I have just purchased a portable WiFi device where I can connect to the Internet anywhere. When there is no WiFi available, it uses GPS or WAP as connection, same as mobile phones uses as long as there is line coverage.

My friend tried this in his notebook and its working fine. I installed it and use it in my notebook and its not allowing me. Â It keeps on telling me device terminated.

This is a USB like broadband. We are both using Windows 7 right now. Please help, I need it badly.

I will directly ask you some info about the issue. Â Have you made some changes in your msconfig area? If yes, try to check the telephony, if it is currently running right now. Telephony controls devices that dials in and out from your computer.

Go to START.

Search program box>type"msconfig">services tab.

Look for telephony.

Make sure this is checked, so it will be running in the background.

In case you made some changes in the msconfig on your computer, try to check if your telephony box is checked.
To do that, go to Start and type msconfig in the Search programs text box. A window will appear, named System Configuration. Choose the Services tab and look for the Telephony box. If it is not checked, please do it.
