Hi there,

I want to install a plug-in on my laptop for iMovie and this error appears. On the website it says that is compatible with my OS and it should work without a problem. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What is wrong with my laptop ?

Incompatible Plugin

The plugin “Twirl.bundle” cannot be loaded, because it isn’t designed to run on this computer. If you don’t need this program, remove it from your plugins folder (in Library>iMovie)

Hello,

There can be various possibilities for this scenario,

  • This plugin came with iMovie6 which was a part of iLife6. Update to this version.
  • if you still unable to locate it try searching inside the iMovie << control <<show Package contains<<Plugin Folder. If you get it there , you can move it out from that folder and your message will be gone.
  • You can use various tools like "SpotLight " to search for this plugin within system folders and plugin folders
  •  Some plugins are incompatible with the  Intel Based Systems.
