Dear All,

I have been using HP Pavilion G6 2005AX Laptop for the past 2 years now.

The operating System installed is Windows 7 Home Basic (64-bit). It has an SATA HD with a capacity of 500GB.

I have managed to install MAGIX Music Maker 15 on my system.

However an attempt to open it yields the following error.

Please insert MAGICX Movie Maker installation CD-ROM and restart the program

Hello,

I bet  you haven't install the magic movie maker successfully because it is asking for the CD. If you still have the CD with you. Insert and do not unplug it in the CD room unless it was successfully installed in your computer. And make sure that the MAGIC Music Maker version that you have is compatible with the current operating system installed in your computer, also keep in mind that you have to install all the recommended updates of your operating system if there are for security purposes.

Hello.

From where did you get the Magix Movie Maker software? Maybe it is corrupted or damaged so the error is showing. Try to insert the correct installation disk and run the setup again. Or you can go to Magix website and locate the software you were looking and click the Download Now button beside it. You can download the 30-day trial version and purchase the software afterwards to enjoy using it without time restriction. They also have some free software that may be useful for you.

If the program is already installed on your computer but now it is looking for the installation CD, try to uninstall and reinstall the software. It could be a problem with the installation files. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select your MAGIX software among the applications and click “Uninstall”.

Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install MAGIX back. If this doesn’t work, download the latest. Download the latest MAGIX Music Maker on FileHippo.

If the problem continues, see if you still have a valid license.
