‘Microsoft.VC90.Open MP, version=”9.0.30729.1”, publicKey Token=”1fc8b3b9a1e8e3b”,processor Architecture=”x86”,type=”win32””

I’m not really techy so I hope someone here can help me.

You can try this method for resolution of this issue. Run check disk and then follow the process carefully then attempt again. If it doesn't work, then have to look at this situation. Empty the C:windowstemp directory, Run Scan disk and defrag, and end background tasks, before trying an install.

Suggest to use EndItAll for shutting down non-essential program tasks. Hope you will come out soon from this problem.

The error is occurring when you try to install applications on your computer for a number of reasons:

  • The applications you are installing are not compatible to the current operating system that you are using, and therefore you will need to check the system specifications and download the right application. In case the operating system is a 64 bit, then make sure that the applications that you are trying to install on the system are 64 bits too. Do the same in case the operating system is a 32 bit.
  • The operating system may be corrupt, especially the registry entries may be having problems and therefore you will need to run the system error check and repair tool to fix those errors.
  • Also try scanning the system with the antivirus that you have installed and remove any viruses that may be on your computer in case they are the ones blocking successful installation of the programs.

That error means the program you are installing is not compatible with your computer. This error points directly to the hardware. With that error, it means you tried installing a program that is 64-bit and your computer, indicated by the processor, is 32-bit. This is not possible. You cannot install a 64-bit program on a 32-bit computer. This is the total opposite when you have a 64-bit machine.

When you have a 64-bit computer, you can install both 32-bit and 64-bit applications. 32-bit applications run under 32-bit compatibility mode on 64-bit hardware. The 32-bit and 64-bit architecture on computer hardware or in a computer system is dictated by the motherboard. If your motherboard is 32-bit, you can only install 32-bit processor. If your motherboard is 64-bit, you can install either 32-bit or 64-bit processor.

The type of processor you install dictates what type of operating system you can install. If your processor is 32-bit, you can install only 32-bit Microsoft Windows but if your processor is 64-bit, you can install either 32-bit or 64-bit Microsoft Windows.
