I don't know much on fixing multimedia issues. So I really need help from our Experts here. Using Last.FM Player or just listening to my Desktop sounds, it doesn't play any sound on the browser. I will need to restart the browser again to hear sounds again. However, there is no sounds on my system. It happens on my Mozilla Firefox browser and when I play music on Last.FM with firefox plugin, an error will appear:

Error!

Alsa-init:playback open error: Device or resource busy

OK

Click OK to close the dialog box, close the application, restart your computer, and try playing another media file again. If the same thing happens, uninstall it and then install it back. The error could be caused by corrupted files. If still nothing happened and the error continues, try downloading and installing the latest version from Last.fm Scrobbler for Mac.

For those who are new to Last.fm and doesn’t know what Last.fm Scrobbler is, it is the client program you used to play Last.fm radio stations. If the problem continues, make sure you are using a supported operating system. The latest version supports Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and higher.

In case you are using an old version of Mac OS X like Mac OS X 10.3.9 Panther, you need to download and install an older version of the program from Last.fm Old Version for Mac. For Windows users, you can download the latest Windows version of the client from Last.fm Scrobbler for Windows.

The Windows version requires Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, until Windows 8. In case you are using an old version of Microsoft Windows such as Windows 2000, Windows 98, and others, download the old version of the client from Last.fm Old Version for Windows. If you have Linux, you can download the Ubuntu Gutsy package from Last.fm Scrobbler for Linux.
