Hello everyone

Our corporate network is based on XEN virtualized environment and is running successfully for the last few months. Now I'm facing a problem uninstalling pinnacle studio customers machine. Installed clients through the implementation of group policies.

Client machine using windows 7 enterprise, and pinnacle studio 12 is installed.

Try to remove it when going to add / remove programs and select pinnacle studio for uninstall. Start the process of uninstalling, but soon after a few seconds of activity, it gives me the following error.

pinnacle studio 12 error proceeding with uninstallation by removing this error

Any idea / suggestion about proceeding with uninstallation by removing this error.

Thank you.

Nadia,

I think the best way to fix it is by reinstalling the software. Follow these steps if it will work out.

1. Check if Studio is listed in the Add/Remove Programs tool in Windows Control Panel. If it is there, select your version of Studio and click Uninstall. Follow any on-screen prompts to remove Studio.

2. After this, download and run this tool:
http://cdnexpress2.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Regdelete/RegDelete_14.exe

Choose All products and hit clean
Run again and choose Studio 12 or 14 and hit clean
Run again and choose User Registration and activation data and hit clean.

Now open Computer or Windows Explorer. Go to this folder:

C:Program Files and delete the Pinnacle folder
C:UsersPublicPublic Documents and delete the Pinnacle folder
C:Program FilesCommon Files delete the Installshield folder

Now restart and install again.

Hi Nadia,

The Error Code 1721 come up when you are going to install any software in your case as pinnacle. Most of the times this error occurred when someone used the pirated software or some file required to support this software are being corrupt or require authentication from Microsoft are being damaged deliberately or intentionally.

You might understand what I mean to say. As during piracy it happens.

Please follow the step by step instructions as given below to solve this issue. Refer to the image as well.

1. Disable your antivirus or anti-spyware temporarily during the installation process.

2. Ensure that there is no spyware or Adware installed on your system that might interfere the installation process.

3. Check if there is any unwanted entry in the Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel or in the IE Add-On's area. Go to Tools and then Internet Options. Click Programs and then Manage Add-on's to check in IE. If there is any unwanted entry, remove or disable it.

4. For Windows Vista user, disable UAC (User Account Control) feature and then download and install Java again.
