Any idea how I can solve this?
While installing Studio, I encountered this error message “Error 2753.
The file 'fwkick.exe' is not marked for installation” then the installation stopped.

Uninstall the current software you are using.
Then download Pinnacle 14.go into DATAcab 1 file location and locate the fwkick.exe program.
Extract it on your desktop and go back and click on STUDIO.
Then click on pinnacle studio 14 and do not run or click the setup.as it initializes, navigate to your desktop and click on fwkick.exe. A dark screen may appear and then disappear.
Then you are set to have it. Continue with other prompts.

This problem is caused by a corrupted installShield folder.
Follow these steps to solve this issue:
First, open C:Program FilesPinnacle. Delete the Studio 12 folder. If your OS is under Vista 64 bit, look in C:Program Files(x86)Pinnacle.
Then, open C:Program FilesCommon Files and delete the folder InstallShield. After deleting the folder, click Start >> All Program >> Accessories >> Run then type msconfig then click OK.
Click Diagnostic Startup. Go to Service tab and look for Windows Installer and check if it's enabled.
Click on Apply and then close.
