Hi guys,

I am using adobe Photoshop version 13.0 for the last two months now. When I select the tabs "preferences", "interface" and "open documents as tabs", I see a tabbed interface but I don’t want such an interface. To get rid of such an interface, I deselected the tabs but now I am facing a problem. When these tabs are not selected some of the commands do not function properly.

I cannot copy paste a layer from any other file. Each time I get the following error on my screen:

I cannot put up with the tabbed interface. Can anyone help me in this regard? I'll be grateful for your suggestions.

Regards

Joseph

Dear User,

I advise you to simply reset your Photoshop settings in to the default. In order to do this, Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift together.

Now while keeping these buttons held, open Photoshop,

Now you are being asked a question, whether to  delete your existing setting file. Click yes.

There you go,

Hope your problem will be solved

Thank you.

Hi there user:

I suggest that you should uninstall your application/version first, and then install it again. You may also want to upgrade it. And when done, be careful of setting-up the settings, figure it out so there could be no more trouble while you’re using it.

I hope all we be done well.
