Hi,

When you have updated your phone with the new software and the phone must restart automatically if it has not then you do not need to worry much about it .

The phone has to be restarted but the phone does not provide any kind of restart button nor you can remove the battery and insert it back . if you insert the charger pin you must me able to see the charger light if your able to see that means you phone is working.

Now hold the switch off buttons for 8 seconds and you phone will switch on for sure .Holding the switch off button for eight seconds is just like removing the battery and inserting it back.

Try it out it works

Hi, if it is in warranty, then go NOKIA Service Center only. If it is out of warranty, then remove battery first, reinsert it.

If even after is not getting start go to NOKIA Service Center and ask him to upgrade phone software.

If you are no longer able to open your phone after installing an app, try factory resetting your device. If you have a Nokia N8, make sure it is turned on then press and hold Volume Down + Camera button + Home key + Power button until the Nokia logo appears. Once you see the Nokia logo, release the buttons then enter your phone’s lock code.

If you didn’t change this, the default lock code is without quotes “12345”. Your phone should reset after this and may even restart. If this doesn’t work, another method to reset your phone is to enter a special code combination. With your phone turned on, press the green handset button to dial a number just like when making a call.

Next, enter or dial the following without quotes “*#7370#”. This should reset and restart the phone. On the other hand, if the phone doesn’t actually turn on, check your battery. It is probably damaged or broken so replace it first with a new one.
