Petey and Parrot shows error

Hi,
Petey the Parrot is definitely a lot of fun to have both for the computer and for the “i” devices such as iphone and ipad. My question is, does it work on Windows 7? It always gives an error shown below. What are the alternatives to Petey the Parrots that runs on Windows 7?
