Peachtree DynaZIP error number 18

Backup is always a recommended idea as we all know. But there is an unusual thing happening on my system. I am using Peachtree 2010 and I have been trying to run the backup process. My idea was to run the backup from a workstation and this workstation does not have the data directory. First I would like to know if running the backup from a workstation with no data directory is okay. Whenever I do so I get the error message below especially if the process encounters a .afh file. Can anyone help?

Hi John,

Yes, you need to use a workstation that does have the data directory. Try the back up from such a workstation. If that doesn't work, you may try the below step.

This error may be resulting due to a file permission problem. You may not have the right permissions to edit a protected backup document. To workaround this problem, I suggest you run the inbuilt data checker in Peachtree. See if it gives you any alerts and fix the data corruption.
