I upgraded Peachtree 2009 Complete Accounting to the latest version which is 2012. I am running Windows Vista SP2 32-bit PC. The problem is, I am getting a random error stating “Peachtree Accounting has stopped working – A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” It’s a bit annoying now. I need help!

Hi There! Several errors may happen when Peachtree closes, but none of them should affect your data integrity. I might help, Can you please right click on the peachtree shortcut on your desktop then click properties. In the target field, click end, and after the -> “ , type a space then BSC. Try clicking OK, and open peachtree. That should solve your question, although other factors such as Anti Virus, Firewall, Anti Spyware, may also be components of the error.
