I would like to import the four column data in a PDF file to an excel sheet. How can I easily transfer the data in 50 pages to Excel?

Please help me. Thanks.

Hi Chynna,

You can try to use a free converter from a link which can be found here http://www.zamzar.com/. To convert, You first need to first select the file you want to convert on Step 1. Then you just need to choose TXT as the file type in Step 2. The file could not be converted straight away to Excel. Once its converted and saved on your computer, you just need to open Excel and choose to open all file types.

Try to open the TXT converted file and it should open the Text Import Wizard. Follow the step on the wizard, choose Delimited on step 1 of the wizard. Click Next and check off the Space box option on Step 2. Click next then finish. You can now save the files as excel files.

Hello Chynna,

                           In principle it is not possible to convert tables in PDF to excel file. PDF stands for portable document format and it has very little to do with text inside because PDF is basically an image of the text inside a document. Text detection from a PDF file takes intelligent OCR capabilities and most converters simply convert file types and do not optimize the data inside. However there are some paid solutions that offer to solve such problems. One of them is PDF to Excel converter. There are other workarounds also. One of them is explained here.

Hello Chynna,

As I know, to convert something from PDF file to MS Excel, it is not easy. Plus, you have to convert the file to MS Word then MS Excel. That's what I do before this. But, I have a new solution to solve your problem. All you need to do is download PDF to Excel file at this link https://www.pdftoexcelonline.com/ . after you install it, you can easily convert your file from PDF into Excel. after you install this application, first step you need to do is click on "To Excel" button.

 

 

Then, a dialogue box will pop up and you hit the "Add Files" button. Choose your PDF files to convert into Excel. After that, your file will continue to MS Excel. If you want to, you can do a little manipulation with your new column data file or else, just leave it like that. I hope this solution will help you in order to convert your PDF files.
