PC Market limps along in the first quarter

Yes computer sales declines because of the several factors that affects the market.

One of them is the growth of apple and other android devices including smart phones, ipad, and other tablet pc on which it is directly compete with the sales of computer. Mobile devices like android phones is continuously increasing their sales and tablets and Apple Ipads are starting to dominate the market leaving the sales of desktop and other computers declining sales.

People are switching from desktop to mobile smart phones on which they can do the same applications with more additional features that they can only experience on using Ipad or other tablet computers or smart phones that are generally available in the market with more cheaper price.

That is why it is not really amazing that the sales of computer or desktop is continuously declining because of competition in the market which is getting harder and harder to dominate.
