Hi all,

When I am using PC-link 2.0.0.0.7 edition software and act "Software update" or "Activate function" I am facing the following problem:

PC_link

the inforation from the server is in error, try again later.

Exit

I am confused why this kind of error message pops up.

Is there anyone who can help me solve it?

Thanks in advance.

If this is the first time it happened with your application, try restarting your computer then try it again. If it still doesn’t work, I think the problem is really with the application.

I’ve already checked their site and I think they also found this bug on the program and developed a solution for this problem.

The first option is to download the USB driver [driver32.rar, and driver64.rar] which is not good since these two [2] drivers only work on Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.

Any lower versions of Windows like Windows XP and Windows Vista won’t be able to use it.

The second option is to download and install PC-link 2.0.0.0.8 which supports Windows XP and Windows 7 only. Windows Vista users may need to run this on a virtual machine or maybe change their operating system to any of these two [2] platforms.

Before installing PC-link 2.0.0.0.8, you need to uninstall first the old version and then proceed on installing this version to avoid any conflict. Here is the screenshot of the latest version, PC-link 2.0.0.0.8.

After successfully installing PC-link 2.0.0.0.8, connect the Test Connector to your computer then open PC-link 2.0.0.0.8 and then click the Activate function button of the program.

After this, click on Software update. After doing all these steps, PC-link 2.0.0.0.8 can now be used normally. Here is the screenshot of the Test Connector.

To download the new version, PC-link 2.0.0.0.8, together with the USB drivers, you may visit SMELECOM — Notification !! (2011.09.01).
