It not advisable to have more than one antivirus application running on the same system. The reason for this being that the antivirus applications will end up competing for the resources a computer has (mainly RAM and CPU). This results in slowed performances that might lead to system lock-ups.

Hello jessielucyy,

Usually PC guard does not create any problem in windows works, but it may make some trouble if you have more than one antivirus at the same time. I think PC guard 2011 and kaspersky these two are almost similar to each other, I mean their virus definitions probably are same. But in case of different antivirus programs only for few definitions they create a mess.

Until now I did not get any compatibility problem between kaspersky and PC guard 2011.

Best regards,

Good day!

PC Guard and Kaspersky don't really interferes with each other unless there are already malwares or viruses running in your system, this could sabotage or corrupt any files that will cause a conflict of these two software, continue using PC Guard if you really like the performance of this software in your system.

Have a nice day!

Take care!
