Today I had to work on a previous project and when I tried opening log spreadsheet, it says me to enter password, which I’ve forgotten.  Is there a way to retrieve forgotten password?

Hi,

First browse Microsoft Excel Password protect (XLS or XLSX)

Install and uninstall PDS Microsoft Excel password remover program

Click unlock password Button to start protected Excel file

Demo version can show first 3 characters of protected Excel file

Now select password recovery type attack - Dictionary Attack or Brute Force attack

It works on MS Excel versions (97/2000/2002/XP/2003/2007/2010)

I think your file is unlocked.

Hathy

Hello Jabez Zion,

If you only need to view your previous project, you can use the software "Excel Password Remover", the download link is www.straxx.com/free-excel-password-remover-2012/

It is a free software, download and install it. When you will open it, you will be asked whether to enable macros associated, do it. Now open your Excel file, there will be two new options visible under the Tools Tab. Click on Unprotect Sheet.
