Hello expert friends,

When I try to login with a nick name in Paltalk I stuck up with an error message. I closed the program and opened it, thinking this might fix the error. After login I get this error message, it blocks me from proceeding further. I am getting this error repeatedly, how to solve? Please support me. Thanks a lot.

If logging off and restarting Paltalk didn’t help solve the issue, try reinstalling the client. Uninstall Paltalk then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files” and click OK. Wait until it is finished and restart your computer. Run your installer again to install Paltalk and see if you can login.

If this is not successful, maybe it’s time to upgrade the client. Visit Paltalk Video Chat Rooms and download the latest version of the client. Once downloaded, uninstall the version currently installed on your computer and restart your machine. Next, run the newly downloaded installer to install the latest version of Paltalk. See if this fixes the problem.

Also, make sure the latest version still supports your operating system. The latest version of Paltalk requires Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7 x86 and x64, and Windows 8. It also requires the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you have version 6 and older, you need to upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and up.

If you still have problems logging in, open Windows Explorer and navigate to “C:Paltalk”. Find and double-click “regfixer.exe”. After this you will see a black window flashing on your screen while the registry settings are being restored. When it is finished, restart your computer and try it again. In case you do not have the file in your directory, click Paltalk Registry Fixer to download the file. Also visit Updating Paltalk Caused an Error for other information about Paltalk.
