Hello

When I am trying to open the Software Manager, I get nothing and it works fine. But when I want to open Package Manager I find the following

"An error occurred
The following details are provided:

E: malformed line 1 in secure list/etc/apt/spurces.list.d/ubuntu-tweak.stable.list(dist parse)

E: The list of sources could not be read.

Go to the repositories dialog to correct the problem.

E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Close"

I need to solve this error. Need your help.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Rhon petrenko!

Well I also had the same problem. You do not need to worry about this problem. I searched on the internet for the solution but found myself with no luck. Then I discuss the problem with one of my friend, who later on told me the solution. That solution really worked for me. I could not think that a simple solution could solve my problem. Anyways I will tell you the solution to overcome this error. What you need to do is just to follow these steps.

1. Press right click on Update Manager.

2. Go to Preferences and then go to Software Source.

3. Here you will see an option "Ubuntu-Tweak Source". Just uncheck this option.

4. Close everything and open Update Manager.

This time you will succeed to open it.

Thanks
