Today, I have downloaded this application package. But when I tried to install it on my Ubuntu through built-in software center, it failed. I get the error that “The installation of a package which violates the quality standards isn't allowed.
This could cause serious problems on your computer. Please contact the person or organization who provided this package file and include the details beneath” with a details button on bottom. I need to install this software.
So please help with a way to install the package of this sort on my computer.

Its Pleasure Conan to provide solution for your query as you said that getting the error as that it not allow to install on it and a warning followed as it could cause serious harm to computer.
Its required to perform uninstallation first the entire application installed successfully by restarting the computer and then re-install again from first and its better to check that all files are working fine in the application.

Maybe there is something in the installer that does not match like for example, its certificate or security signature or something that the computer noticed when verifying and checking the integrity of the installer.
Maybe the installer you acquired must have been edited by someone and altered something in it or inserted something in the installation files.
Since the file was downloaded from a website, try downloading the installer again from a different website and then try it on your computer.
You can also check your computer for any viruses. Update your antivirus and then run a full system scan on your computer. It is possible that a virus is causing this error.
