It is a problem with galaxy note. It is because of the software used in the phone. ICS is generally warmer than GB and it could get much warmer in combination with a ROM. Playing games while charging it can make it much hotter, so my advise is when using net or playing you should be in a cold place to reduce the heat.

Hallo Patty,

The overheating issues in the Samsung Galaxy Note were said to be caused by the ICS update, and the phone usually overheats after a long period of browsing, and that condition causes the battery life to reduce drastically and to make matters worse, the device becomes hard to pair with many Bluetooth devices.

The issue was quite common with the S2, and the resolution that I will recommend that you try is the following:

  • You will need to try powering off your phone.
  • And after that you will remove the battery for about 20 to 30mins.
  • In the event that the same issue occurs that it is most likely that the battery sensor is messed up or IDK.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
