I have an android phone that has over 2 GB of free internal memory at present. But whenever I try to install a new app in the phone, it says that memory is full and transfer data to SD card. Is it a problem with android OS? Is my memory really full and not being shown as full? How can I clear my memory and create space for new apps?

To fix the internal memory storage issues, you follow any one of the below steps:

** Open the phone app and switch to the keypad and dial *#9900#, then a button label named “ Delete dumpstate/logcat” appears, click on it.

** Install Superuser and Terminal Emulator apps in your device and run them.

** Repartition your SD card. By this you can store apps directly in SD card.

** Go to Application Manager in settings, and click on uninstall updates in google play services. Once you disable them, you may fix your problem.
