Outlook is currently not running properly in my computer. When I close it by clicking on the red button at the top of the page, the window disappears from the screen but not the same can be said of its taskbar which persist for a long time while greyed out. I have no clue as to what is causing outlook to hang instead of closing, so I am looking forward for anyone who could assist me in this problem.

Outlook hangs and does not close

Hello Olivia Matthews,

I have read your issue on your Outlook. There are various reasons why this happened when you start the application of Outlook. What version of Outlook have you been using? You should be aware of the interface COM API that changed the Interrupts, WordBasic, Access Basic, Word WLL, and DDE which was initiated in the previous edition. Outlook has also Add-ins in chronological process and puts memory through COM interface. If the time you need to close Outlook it must be in order so as the Add-ins to avoid it from hanging up.

You need the help of your administrator on this also so they can process the errors on you Outlook because we can’t manually elevate the issue
