This error occurs because the  dbx file is corrupted . To correct this error simply go to TOOLS from the main menu. Click on accounts choose the MAIL tab and then select DUPLICATE MAIL ACCOUNT . T o end press REMOVE. Repeat these steps until your account have been duplicated. To find dbx file use windows search and then rename it

  •  The .dbx file is corrupted, to adjust this error go to the “Tools” from the main menu, click on ”accounts”. Select the “mail” tab and select”duplicate mail account”. To end, press “remove”
  • Repeat this process until your all accounts have been “duplicated”. You might have difficulties locating the .dbx file. If yes the use the windows search to locate  .dbx file.
  • These steps should solve the problem at hand. Otherwise, rename the Outbox.dbx file. This can be found easily by means of the windows search utility.

Hi,

I have here the Resolution Related To: 0x800420cb

To resolve this behavior, remove the duplicate mail accounts.

To do so, follow these steps:

* In Outlook Express, on the Tools menu, click Accounts.
* Click the Mail tab.
* Click a duplicate mail account, and then click Remove. * Repeat this step until only one instance of the mail account remains.
* Click Close.

If the problem continues:

* Remove all messages currently in the outbox.
* Close and reopen the email client
* Try to send/receive again
* If the problem continues:

You have to uninstall/re-install your email software application. Your email client is corrupted and needs to clean-up the registry.

Hope this help.
