Outlook 2007 – Advanced Find issue

Hello Experts,

I have a problem with the Advanced Find tool in MS Outlook 2007 for searching a secondary mailbox. Every time I go to a folder in a secondary added mailbox and do an Advanced Find, it displays results of the criteria, yet in the left bottom corner, it displays 0 items as an alternative of the right number of found mail messages.

When I carry this out from the Inbox, the advanced find gives results and also gives a count of items in the bottom left. I am not sure, however, if this is some kind of a bug in MS Outlook 2007.  Any suggestion on resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Joanna,

I have a solution for your problem as you mentioned you are having problem to search secondary (shared) mailbox. Its main reason is a secondary mailbox uses online resources. And that's a reason why local search features does not work with this mailbox.

To search this mailbox you have to log in to Office365 Exchange mailbox.
