I have a problem that when I want to send the jpg file with the help of Outlook 2007 the file was not sent by the outlook. I tried to view the email that have the attached file, but there is nothing be incorrect. I think this is because of virus so installed the antivirus and try to re-download the file but nothing will be happened.

I have installed McAfee as well as Avg which can pick up the virus and drop the virus but nothing happened.

Please send me suggestions!

Thanks

You can check if you have a properly configured default handler for jpg files configured. If you have a Windows Vista, go to Start > Default Programs. If you have Windows XP and previous, go to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > tab File Types.

There is no specific thing you have to do for emails. Attachments are opened with their default file handler as defied in Windows.

Also, check if you can open the attachments when you save it to your Desktop.

If not, see if clearing your Outlook Temp folder solves it.

Goo Luck to you!
