Out of Disk space 30062 The install location you selected does not have enough free space. Free up space from the selected install location, or choose a different install location

I was attempting to repair my Microsoft Office installation when I got this error message: Out of disk space — Volume: 'C'; required 268375 KB; available space: 173160 KB. I tried rolling back but still needs space. I have tried cleaning the temporary files used by the internet and the shortcuts in the recent folders to make space.

What should I do?

Hi, Alexander, it seems that your hard drive have no space to install ms office, as ms office setup takes approximately 270 MB space. If you want to install your MS office in C drive only, then first uninstall your non usable software by using control panel. Please don’t delete programs use only uninstaller. You can move your all files and folder to D drive, so that some space can be created in C drive. If even you does not get ample space than you should MS office in D drive.

1.       If you are in Windows XP, go to “Start”, then “All Programs” above it, select “Accessories”, then “System Tools”, and finally    click on “Disk Cleanup”.

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, just click “Start” button, type “Disk Cleanup” in search field above it, and select in search result “Disk Cleanup” service.

2.       Click on tab “More Options”, and under the category “System restore” click “Clean up” button. That should clean all your earlier System restore points, and you should have enough space for installation of MS Office software.
