The list of compatible hardware with OS X are listed below:

  1. MacBook Air – Late 2008 or earlier
  2. MacBook Pro – Late 2007 or earlier
  3. Mac Mini – 2009 or earlier
  4. IMac – 2007 Mid or earlier
  5. MacBook – Late 2008 , or early 2009 or newer
  6. Mac Pro – early 2008 or newer
  7. Xserve – early 2009
