OS fix for Blackberry v7.1 free desktop software pc

I have a 64-bit Windows XP computer and would like to work with a free desktop software pc with my new blackberry. It says though that I need to install Microsoft hotfix first for version 7.1. The download page isn’t working and I’m not certain anymore what is the workaround for this, if there is any.

Hello Robert Martin,

The only official source for downloading the Microsoft Hotfix is from the Microsoft support website here.

There must have been some technical issues with the site when you tried downloading it. It works fine now and I have checked it myself.

The instructions to be followed while downloading the software are also available in the above link.

If it still does not download now then change your proxy settings and try again.
