A module is nothing but a program or procedure that is used to implement one or more business functions, or parts of a business function, within an application. Modules contain forms, concurrent programs and reports, and subroutines. I am giving an Oracle module list here for banking project: This Module List section describes each of the Oracle Banking Center application module briefly. This section lists forms, reports, and concurrent programs. A form is a module that comprises of closely related windows that are used together to perform a task.

For example, the Enter Journals form in Oracle General Ledger includes the ‘Enter Journals window’, the ‘Batch Window’, and the ‘More Actions window’. The first one is the main window, and you can use buttons to navigate to other windows in the form from this window. The ‘form’ primarily corresponds to this main window in the form, and you can open this window directly from the Navigator.

The Reports and Concurrent Programs lists include processes that you can submit from the ‘Submit Requests’ window as well as processes that are submitted automatically by Oracle Banking Center.
