I am using Mac operating system in my Apple computer. I got a movie from my friend in the file extension of .dmg. I can’t open it in my PC. I need to convert it to common movie file type such as .mov. Please help

Hello my friend , Mac operating system should have open up that file. You maybe do not have the latest Codec Pack for Mac install. I think you should download the Mac Codec Pack right away. Also a alternative solution is this:

I think you need to convert .dmg. It’s a CD Image file type, right? Here’s the site where you can download it:
You will notice the there are four (4) versions of the application (converter), download the GUI version. It will install faster.
And you can now convert your .dmg into .mov file or other desire file type.
