Initially HP Cloud was offering a non Open Stack private cloud infrastructure as a service called Matrix. There are lots of customers of HP Cloud who are happily enjoying the service. But now they have introduced Helion now which is a Open Stack distribution. Is OpenStack beneficial for a private cloud than non Open Stack?

Cloud is remote environment for end user to run application on reliable server instead of running on each and every single computer. Open stack falls under category “Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)”. Open stack provides infrastructure for private cloud means, Open stack makes it easy for users to add new instances. This infrastructure runs a platform on which a developer can deploy software application. Application later used by end user.
Definitely, Open stack is beneficial than non open stack.
