Here is a procedure to guide you through that

First you will need to click on the cell where you want to insert your data point, and then you will type  "=NOW()" into the cell.

After that press the "Enter" key to save the value, and then right-click the cell containing the value you just created, then select "Format Cells."

You will need to choose  "Time" from the "Category" column, and then select your preferred notation from the "Format" column, then click "OK.".
