I received an important document through e-mail which is created by Microsoft Word 2007 but I have a Microsoft Word 97 so I cannot open it.
Is there any system I can use so that I can open it using Microsoft Word 97?
Sorry to say but you cannot open this file in Office 97 as there is a difference between the file formats of Office 07 and 97. A document saved in Word 07 can’t be viewed in Word 97.
To open such a document in Word 97 do the following:
1. Go to the top menu, click on File and select save as.
2. Now here is a drop down menu showing Save as Type. Select Word document 97-03 and save file. Now this file can be viewed in Word 97.

Solution 1:
Click the Insert Tab to open the Insert Ribbon. Then look at the labels below the boxes, and look for illustrations and from this select the Picture button and it will open a window for you to find what picture file are you trying to insert in the document. Just double click the file and then it will automatically appear in the document.
Solution 2:
Simply look for the file and then copy it using right click copy or CTRL+C the open the document and then paste it there by using right click paste or CTRL+V. You can also do this step in copying pictures from the web.
