Dear All,

I downloaded a program which needs openGL 1.2 or higher. I am failing to figure out the following:

What is openGL? Do I have it or not in my system? If I have which version it is and how can I upgrade it? If I don’t where can I find it? Can anyone help me in this matter?

Hi,

Open GL stands for Open Graphics Library. It is a platform for rendering 3D and 2D graphics. It is widely used with several applications such as CAD, Virtual reality, Flight simulations etc. There are several versions and OpenGL 4.3 is the latest version.

If you have installed any version of this application, you can see it in ‘programs’ under control panel.

You can visit the open GL official website to download the latest version for your computer.

Thanks and regards,

Skarbos Jay.
