Hello,

Google docs can’t open pdf files which are password protected.

However you can remove password from desired pdf documents using following method.

You have to download a free software named “AnyBizSoft PDF Password Remover”. You can download its free and full version from this link https://pdf.wondershare.com/pdf-password-remover/?src=2016811.

Use the file browser to browse the file on your disk and import it to the library where you can see password protected will be highlighted in red.

Right click on that file or document and select “Decrypt with AnyBizSoft PDF Password Remover”, software will remove any password on that document and you can view it easily or copy paste content from it.

Hope that works!!

Yes, that’s right. Google Docs has added support for PDF format. If you create your document with Google Docs, you can download it in PDF format. Aside from converting your file directly into PDF, if you want to download it in Microsoft Office Word format, you can save it to your local hard drive in DOCX format (.docx).

Unfortunately, though you can download your file in DOCX format, Google Docs doesn’t support opening files that are password-protected. Though Google Docs support DOC (.doc) and DOCX (.docx) file formats, it cannot upload files that are protected with a password. The file has to be password free. You will receive an error when you upload a file that is protected with a password.
