Open 3ds file in photoshop cs6 without any texture

I have a problem now with my photoshop extended trial.  When I open 3ds file in photoshop cs6, it shows the object without any texture.  When also opening the file I have an error message saying “could not complete your request because there are too many files open.  Try closing some windows and try again.  My system is Win 7  64bit; Intel i7-2760QM @ 2.4 GHz; 15 GB ram; Nvidia GTX 560M.  So the error message doesn’t apply as I haven’t experienced chugging when files were open as my system is relatively fast.

Hi,

Check whether you have exceeded the PSD file size limitation (try saving in PSB format). Just navigate to "Performance" and increase the memory usage to 80-95% of your memory.

If the above solution doesn't work then there can be a problem with the 3D elements in the file. When you work on multiple files(loaded) in windows, many times it happens that the Photoshop needs to clear its graphics buffer. You may have to restart the program after saving the work.

There are so many different ways to resolve this weird error message. Try one of the following solutions to fix the problem.

1 When you attempt to open your file then after that you have to press ESC. You should press CTRL+SHIFT+S because to do so it resizes the window to its default size.

2 You can also fix this problem by setting the required fields. Go to edit>preference>performance and select the default memory.

Let me know if you have any issue. Thanks.
