I started with OneNote 2010 and for various reasons needed to uninstall and start using OneNote 2007. I now want to see info stored in 2010 notebooks, but I do not have 2010 loaded to use the converter. Is there another way I can from 2007 see 2010 notebooks?

OneNote 2007 needing to read 2010

Hi,

As with ALL office versions you cannot open a newer version of office with the old version, until and unless it is converted.

Your issue is that you are trying to open a OneNote 2010 data with Onenote2007 version. But as soon as you will try this you will get the warning message as displayed below.

Convert it to 2007 version

In order to overcome this, you have to open this data with OneNote2010, and convert it to 2007 version.

Open file-settings-properties- and click on convert to 2007.

Open file settings properties and click on convert to 2007

Hope this solves the issue.

Maddy
