Adding Facebook toolbar on your browser depends on which type of browser you are using.

Below I will give a solution for the most common browser that is Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox browser

Open your Mozilla browser

Upgrade Firefox

On the menu bar, click tools

Firefox Add-ons

On tools click on ads on

This will open a new window

Recommended Add-ons Firefox

The adds on toolbar will require you to search for your add on which come into category of either plug in or an extension

Type facebook tool bar on the searching tab.

Add-ons Firefox

Click on face book tool bar or Facebook button both will yield the desired result of getting a Facebook tool bar on your browser.

After the complete installation of the extension ,your browser will  prompt you to restart your browser for complete installation.

Note that if you have enabled browser history on your browser you won't lose your browsing tabs you were currently working on.

The other downloadable toolbar includes.

Best of luck.

If you want to create a shortcut in your browser to access your Facebook timeline instead of opening Facebook first and then going to the timeline next, what you can do is create a bookmark of your Facebook timeline in your web browser. That way you can instantly access your Facebook timeline with just one click and without installing extensions on your web browser.

To do this, first, open Facebook on your web browser or click Facebook Social Media and log in to your account if you are not logged in yet. Next, click your name on the upper right of your screen to access your Facebook Profile.

Once your Facebook Profile opens, create a bookmark in your web browser. In Opera browser, click on the heart icon at the end of the address bar. This adds or creates a bookmark of the current page in your browser.

And that’s it. Clicking on the bookmark you created will immediately bring you to your Facebook Profile which displays your timeline. You can also install a Facebook extension to your web browser to access your Facebook account but I’m not sure if it’ll take you to your timeline. If you are using Google Chrome, go to Facebook for Chrome and install the Facebook extension.

If you’re on Mozilla Firefox, go to Fastest Facebook for Firefox. For Opera users, go to Fastest Facebook for Opera or to Opera Facebook Add-ons and select which Facebook extension you want to install.
