Few months back, I installed Kundli 5.0 on my laptop having Windows 8 inbuilt. After refreshing my PC, when I tried to open the Kundli software, it shows an error that DBLIST32.OCX is missing or invalid. I don't know about this .OCX file. Please tell me what is .OCX file and how to correct this error. This is very important, so please reply fast.

I’m not sure why it is not running when supposedly it should work on Microsoft Windows 8 both x86 and x64. Anyway, if this prevents the software from opening, try reinstalling it. Uninstall Kundli software, restart your computer, and then install it back. See if this works. If it doesn’t, download the application again.

Visit Kundli Software Download and follow the instructions on the page how to get the program. Normally, the Kundli software supports Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 both x86 and x64. If the problem continues, try registering DBLIST32.OCX manually. Click Start then in the search box type without quotes “command”.

Press and hold CTRL + SHIFT then hit Enter. When you are prompted for permission, select Yes. In the command prompt, type without quotes “regsvr32 /u DBLIST32.OCX” then hit Enter. This will unregister the OCX file. Next, type without quotes “regsvr32 /i DBLIST32.OCX” then hit Enter. This registers the file again.

After that, exit the command prompt then start Kundli software again. See if this works. If it doesn’t, try visiting How to Fix DBLIST32.OCX.
