I currently own a frequency modulation remitter which is driven by cells and acquires transmission from the earphone socket. How likely is it for me to obtain one which is propelled by and obtains its audio transmission from the universal serial bus port?

It is most likely that you can get a frequency modulation remitter that obtains audio transmission from the universal serial bus port. You will just need to visit the vendor or the shop where you purchased that one you are currently using or any other shop for electronics and ask for such kind of device.
I am sure that in three stores that you visit you will not miss to get it in at least one of them. So just go and try out and see if you might get lucky.

Frequency modulation remitters or in short FM remitters come with various technologies. The one I have is china made USB fm remitter. Do you have a brand name for your devise? If you are still under the guarantee period of your item you may call the place you brought it or nearby dealer of that brand and see if they can agree for an exchange. Of course you will have to pay some money too since it is more costly than the one you already own.
