On booting up my PC I get a notification message that says Windows is trying to install a device driver. On opening the notification I notice that Windows is trying to download the drivers without success. I have Googled the problem but came up with blogs and posts that go nowhere. I am uploading the notification messages to your site.

"Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device."

Update Driver Software- Coprocessor

Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

NVIDIA nForce System Management Controller

The system cannot find the file specified.

If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software.

Thank you

Hi Good Day.

Yes this may be occurred for installing a new device in your computer or automatically uninstalling of any driver program. But it also may be caused by the virus. So it would be better if you run a boot-time scan

As I see that you mentioned about NVIDIA nForce So I suggest you to reinstall your NVIDIA nForce or  Graphic Card Driver that was provided by the manufacturer when you purchased it.

Hope it will help you to solve your problem.

Thanks

HI

This sometimes causes the auto update of the graphic card to install in your computer it's better to check for the NVIDIA built in auto driver update or check if malware update also makes this error better to uninstall the graphics card driver and check this site of NVIDIA http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us.check for your video card driver and check for your compatible graphics card.
