I have a WINS server running but my NT4 clients could not connect to the Windows 2000 domain.  Those clients has the correct address configured under WINS server. How can I fix this? Please note that I already checked on the WINS server and it has all the records for the 2000 domain controller.

Ensure that you establish a connection, for the client to be able to establish client's server communication create a binding handle which will enable this. Then the RPC will be able to establish the computer that is running the program. It will also find out if the server is listening and direct calls to it. Just go through the above procedure to make sure you were not disconnected somewhere this is to ensure there is connection between the two client and the network and also to establish if there is communication between the client and the server. Test to establish the truth.

If  the first procedure does not work then follow this other procedure, click start the all programs then accessories then to communications then remote desktop connection. Create a terminal service connection by opening remote desktop connections In the computer's box type the IP address of a terminal server. Click connect then log on to windows and type your username and password and domain then click okay remember to save the setting.
