Notepad is not Working Properly

I am trying to develop simple web pages in Notepad before few days I create some html links in notepad and save it as .html extension then I double click at this file so that I can see its output in internet explorer but when I double click then my computer hang I restart it after restarting I am trying to open notepad but it is not working for me. Notepad generates folder and directory error. Tell me its solution.

Hi,

  • There are many different reasons for causing this type of problem. Whatever the reason is, here I am giving some solution for it.
  • First option is repair windows. In order to do this you need to put windows XP bootable CD in CDROM. Then restart your computer and boot from CDROM. Then follow commands and repair windows.
  • Other option is to copy from other computer. Notepad’s installation file is in C:Program Files. Copy installation file from others computer and paste into your computer.
  • You can use update for notepad or Install notepad ++. This is the best option. Download it from here: http://download.cnet.com/Notepad/3000-2352_4-10327521.html. It’s free. It will work better than notepad.

Note pad sometimes cause this type of problems. The best way to get rid of this is to reinstall your operating system. You can also reboot your computer to get rid of the problem. But the way I will prefer is to download a new version of note pad and install it in your computer. You can download this type of software by googling in the net.
