Hello,

I just installed some plug-ins for my Notepad and now I have this error. I have downloaded the plug-ins from a trusted source and all was recommended. Now I have this kind of error and I don’t know why. It says that I should remove some plug-ins to fix it. Does anyone have any idea about what plug-in should be removed ?

Thanks !

Notepad cannot open document files

Hello,

Well Notepad is meant to be a "Quality-Text Editor"  rather then be a "Quantity-Text Editor". This consumes lots of computing memory for processing a comparatively a smaller text file. The latest versions of Notepad which include various  plugins helpful for script processing, like "Notepad++" are assigned to through this kind of error messages in place of getting over worked up and ending up to "getting hanged", unlike older versions. You may consider:

  • Splitting larger files in to smaller fragments
  • Using better and proper text editors like Wordpad.

Hope this will help you.
