Note 4 IMEI and MAC address invalid issue

I got my Note 4 today(Tmobile) and tried to enter my information on the phone website. It asks for IMEI and WIFI MAC address. After entering those, I get an error that IMEI and MAC address are invalid. Samsung support says the IMEI is valid. The MAC address is copied directly off the phone. Different browsers or machines make no difference. So i would like to know what kind of issue is this ?

I don’t see the reason why the IMEI code gets invalid when you can easily get it from the device itself. The IMEI code is printed inside the battery compartment of Smartphones that’s why you can’t miss it. It is also printed on the box of the device. So, since you have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, you should be able to find the correct IMEI code from the box of your device.

Unfortunately, the MAC address is not found there. Here is an example how to get the MAC address of your device but in this method, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is used. Since you have a much higher version, just check if this applies to your device. On your phone, tap Apps then navigate to Settings, About phone, and then tap Status.

From there, you can view the Wi-Fi MAC address. See image.
