You have to make sure that you did not make any changes with your mail client as well as password of your E-mail account.

Things to check:

Webmail password should match the password stored on your mail client.

Login to your webmail (Yahoo Mail) and send a Test Mail to your own E-mail. When E-mail is received while logged into webmail, then there is no problem with your account.

Upon launching / opening your Mail Client, click Send/Receive button. The Test Mail you just made should be downloaded onto your Mail Client.

If errors occurred, check the settings of your E-mail Account. (Incoming Server, Outgoing Server,..)

If that problem happens very recently but in the previous days your account is working fine, try sending a test mail to your own email address using the same Microsoft Office Outlook application. This way, you will know if the email message goes through or not. You will know if your email message went through because no error will appear but if the sending fails, an error will appear.

If you received an error after sending the test message, try checking your account’s settings. Make sure the right port numbers and protocols are set. On the other hand, if no error was visible and the message went through but nothing was received, try checking with your network administrator to check if there is a problem with the Microsoft Exchange Server.

You can also create a new account in Microsoft Office Outlook or use Mozilla Thunderbird instead as your email client. The latest Mozilla Thunderbird supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 including Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 or higher. It requires Intel Pentium 4 or faster processor with SSE2 support, 1 GB RAM, and 200 MB hard drive space.
