To uninstall Silk Test:

Installing Silk Test new version will launch uninstallation window of your current Silk Test version. It is also possible to uninstall the Silk Test from the Programs list.

1. Click Start and then select Programs. Select Silk and then Silk Test. Click Uninstall. It will launch the UninstallSilkTest 2011 window.

2. Tick the Remove all files check box to remove the entire files from your installation directory. Please note that if you remove those files,  the following will be removed as well:

  • The applications you just installed.
  • Access databases and examples.
  • The components of [AppDATA]/Silk/Silk Test. This is commonly located in C:Users[yournameAppDataRoamingSilkSilk Test when you are running Windows 7.
  • The components of [commonAppData]/Silk/Silk Test. This is commonly located in C:ProgramDataSilkTest when you are running Windows 7.
  • The components of [commonAppData]/Silk/Silk Test Workbench. This is commonly located in C:/ProgramDataSilkTestWorkbench when you are running Windows 7.

3. Click the Uninstall button. If there is a file that you cannot remove, you will need a list of all the files. Click the Done button.

Hello Kevin. How did you uninstall the program? There are some cases that uninstalling the program thru Control Panel does not completely remove the application from you computer. Sometimes you must use the uninstall.exe of the folder that contains the software. Have you tried this?

If you still weren't able to remove the remaining files try these other methods:

  1. Download a software that can clean your registry and remove all the pieces that's left behind by SilkTest or other programs.
  2. Manually remove SilkTest in the registry but I recommend using cCleaner for safety. You can download it in https://filehippo.com/.
  3. Locate the installation folder and delete it if the software was uninstalled but it wasn't removed yet.

I hope this helps you.
