Hi Experts,

Yesterday I tried to run 16 bit Windows subsystem program but I could not run this because of the following error message which you can see in the below attached image. If somebody has an idea to resolve this issue please let me know.

Thanks

Problem: SYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlVirtualDeviceDrivers.VDD.Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application.

Hello James R Wilson,

This problem may occur due to your Driver Format Registry key. You must change the registry key to install it, so you need a new subsystem program application that has the correct and valid registry key.
You should use a registry cleaner software to clear all of the invalid registry keys.

Now, try again to install it.

I hope this time it works without any errors.
